Question 1

What is WoonBusters?

Accepted Answer

WoonBusters is a rental alert service and search engine for the whole of the Netherlands. It collects listings from 1,000+ real estate agencies and rental platforms, re-scans each source about every 2 minutes, and sends new matches by e-mail and app push. Only verified sources, no redirect sites: every listing links to the original agency. Searching and the daily e-mail overview are free. Instant alerts start at €3.99 every 2 weeks.

Question 2

Is WoonBusters free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Searching is free, and so is the daily e-mail overview: one e-mail a day at 09:00 with the new rentals of the past 24 hours, so a listing that appears in the afternoon reaches you the next morning. The iOS and Android app is free too. Instant alerts per listing are paid: €3.99 or €5.99 every 2 weeks, with the first 7 days free.

Question 3

Which cities does WoonBusters cover?

Accepted Answer

WoonBusters covers all major Dutch cities including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Den Haag, Eindhoven, Nijmegen, Groningen, Arnhem, Tilburg, Breda, Almere, and more. We scrape directly from 1,000+ real estate agencies across these cities.

Question 4

How often are listings updated?

Accepted Answer

We e-mail you when we find a new home matching your filters. The free daily overview arrives at 09:00.

Question 5

What types of rental properties are available?

Accepted Answer

WoonBusters lists residential rentals only: apartments (appartementen, maisonnettes, penthouses), houses (woningen, villas), rooms (kamers), studios, and anti-squat housing (anti-kraak). We do not include commercial properties, and we do not index the corporation allocation platforms (WoningNet, Zig365) where accrued registration time decides. You can filter by property type, price, area, bedrooms, and requirements like pets allowed or student-friendly.

Question 6

How do WoonBusters alerts work?

Accepted Answer

With paid alerts (€3.99 every 2 weeks for budget, €5.99 every 2 weeks for standard, first 7 days free), you set your filters (city, max rent, min area, property type, etc.) and receive an email when we find a new listing matching your criteria. The subscription renews every 2 weeks until you cancel, and after cancelling you are never charged again.

Question 7

Where do the listings come from?

Accepted Answer

Listings are collected from 1,000+ real estate agencies (makelaars), property management companies, housing corporations and rental platforms. We only scrape verified sources, and we leave out redirect sites and the corporation allocation platforms where registration time decides. Every listing links directly to the original source. Some sources may require their own registration, which is clearly labeled on each listing.

Question 8

Is WoonBusters a makelaar or rental agency?

Accepted Answer

No, WoonBusters is not a makelaar or rental agency. We are an aggregator that collects and displays rental listings from official agencies. All rentals are handled directly with the original makelaar.
