Registration steps

1. 1Go to the registration page and fill in your first and last name, email address and phone number
2. 2Receive a confirmation email with a link to set up your password and two-step verification
3. 3Log in to your MyProperty housing file and create a search profile with your housing preferences
4. 4Link your Datakeeper account to automatically share your income data
5. 5Respond to properties via the 'I'm interested' button - you'll be added to the interested list
6. 6If selected as a candidate, Schep will contact you for a viewing
7. 7After approval: upload documents via Datakeeper and sign the rental agreement digitally

Tips for applying

• •Link your Datakeeper account before responding - this significantly speeds up the screening process
• •Make sure your MyProperty profile is completely filled in with your income data
• •Respond quickly to new properties - the first candidates are contacted for viewing
• •Keep in mind an income requirement of 3.5 to 4.5 times the base rent
• •Note housing permits - some municipalities have maximum income requirements
• •Cancellation fee: €250 if you withdraw after verbal agreement
• •82 properties available throughout the Netherlands
