Registration steps

1. 1Search at https://www.spotahome.com/s/amsterdam or https://www.spotahome.com/s/rotterdam - these are the only two Dutch cities on the platform
2. 2Pick your move-in and move-out dates on the listing; without dates no price is shown
3. 3Send a booking request with your profile details and payment method; nothing is charged yet
4. 4The landlord has 24 hours to accept or decline
5. 5If accepted you are charged and connected with the landlord; if declined you pay nothing and get alternatives
6. 6For listings labelled Spotahome plus you supply an identity document, proof of solvency and a direct debit mandate

Tips for applying

• •Spotahome S.L.U., C/ de Piamonte 23, 28004 Madrid, Spain. No phone number, support email or Dutch Chamber of Commerce registration on the site
• •You book without a viewing: Spotahome photographs and films the property itself and puts the check date on the listing
• •The Dutch supply is small and room-heavy: on 12 August 2026 there were 17 places, 8 in Amsterdam and 9 in Rotterdam
• •Prices are per month and usually include some or all utilities, so the price shown is not a base rent
• •The price on the search card can differ from the base price: it depends on your chosen dates and discount badges of up to 20 percent appear
• •Observed prices: EUR 7,000 per month for 150 sqm on Keizersgracht, EUR 3,800 per month for 105 sqm in Leidsebuurt
• •Deposits are guaranteed by Spotahome: if the landlord does not return it, Spotahome pays
• •If the landlord cancels within 48 hours of your move-in date, Spotahome pays for a hotel and helps you find a new place, or refunds you in full
• •You have 24 hours after arrival to report that the property differs significantly from the listing
• •Booked places disappear from the site; there is no rented label
• •No agency rating; listings do show view, favourite and share counts
