Registration steps
- 1Pick your city at https://www.xiorstudenthousing.eu/netherlands/ - Xior has 15 Dutch city pages.
- 2Within that city, choose a residence, for example Naritaweg, Karspeldreef or Brinktoren in Amsterdam.
- 3On the residence page, review the room types with floor area, amenities and starting price.
- 4Click 'Check availability' on the room type you want; this takes you to that residence's own booking portal.
- 5Each residence has its own booking environment, so an application at one residence does not automatically carry over to another.
Required Documents
- ✓Valid ID or passport
- ✓Proof of enrollment (students)
- ✓Income statement or pay slips
Indicative: most landlords ask for documents at or after the viewing, not with your first response.

Tips for applying
- •Booking runs per residence, not centrally: every Xior residence has its own booking portal behind the 'Check availability' button.
- •Prices on a residence page are starting prices per room type, not the price of a specific room. Expect to pay more for an actual unit.
- •Example Amsterdam Naritaweg on 12 August 2026: room types of 26 to 29 m2 with starting prices between 1,337 and 1,344 euro per month.
- •Rooms are offered as self-contained units with private kitchen and bathroom, and the site notes Dutch rent allowance eligibility - verify this per room.
- •Prices are all-in including wifi; communal areas, bike storage and laundry come with the residence.
- •There are separate routes for summer stays and for group bookings via the main site.
- •The Aachen-Vaals location is listed under the Netherlands but sits on the border; check exactly where you would be living.
